Pyramid Club is excited to present French pianist, organist, vocalist, improviser, and composer, Delphine Dora, alongside fellow countryman Tamagawa and Wellington's Amy Jean Barnett.
Born in Paris in 1980, Delphine Dora has cultivated a distinctive and intuitive musical language that bridges improvisation, folk, contemporary classical, experimental and electroacoustic music, as well as poetic expression. Her work, deeply anchored in the present moment, delves into altered temporalities and sensitive geographies, forming a resonant dialogue between improvisation and composition, the contemporary and the archaic, the poetic and the ineffable, the physicality of sound and the ethereal, the outer world and inner life. Encompassing pipe organ explorations, genre-blurring song forms, piano compositions, and site-specific improvisations, her performances take place in venues around the world, from underground experimental spaces to historic churches. The Wire magazine says "Browsing through her labyrinthine discography is like opening a spiritualist’s cabinet: scattered over labels such as Fort Evil Fruit, Okarïna, three:four and Dora’s own imprint Wild Silence, her releases include countless joint efforts featuring artists such as Keiji Haino and Half Asleep. Shelves are filled with all sorts of music, ranging from avant garde adaptions of poetry to organ drones."

Tamagawa is the solo project of french guitarist Bertrand Gaude (Temple Solaire, Le Club des Gens Speciaux). Constructed in and around his apartment cell (from which he practically never goes out except to tour a bit, everywhere on the planet including more than 300 concerts in Europe, Japan and the United States), Tamagawa records alternating minimalist glittering guitars and analog synths. Aymeric Hainaux writes "in Tamagawa's music there is an immense solitude, and in itself, silence takes the form of a (minor) key. Emotion is gradually forming in a succession of notes whose infinite purity doesn’t even allow us a beat of the eyelid."

Amy Jean Barnett is a composer and performer working with acoustic instruments, electronics and historical tuning systems. Drawing from minimalist and electroacoustic lineages, her music is patient and focused, balancing restraint with sustained resonance, evolving harmonic structures and subtle timbral variation. Attentive to the elusive details that emerge through close listening, her work explores the coexistence of continuity and impermanence. Recent projects include multichannel installations, instrumental scores and recorded works.
