Techno Echo is a monthly meet-up for women and gender diverse people to learn and share about audio + visual practices and technology. Featuring special micro performances and demonstrations by local artists/musicians followed by time for kōrero and connection. Joining us as our guest artist for October is beet-wix.

beet-wix is the moniker of multi-faceted musician Lucy Pollock (RIOT GULL). they craft noisy-pop ballads on a Nintendo DS originally borrowed from the Ōtepoti art school, and are ready to cause some charming chiptune chaos. outside of beet-wix Lucy composes contemporary classical music and has recently started an electronic label called scrap metal cereal.
