Body

Ōtepoti-based Calla is one of those people for whom music is not a pond lightly dabbled in, but an ocean. Treating the voice as an instrument, Calla also incorporates electronics and surprising instrumentalism into her music. Incorporating elements of operatic vocals, heavy bass, and hommages to the worlds of folk, and pop.

This winter she’s touring Aotearoa with her second album, Patterns of Remedy. The album includes lines of jazz, shades of classical, gradients of bass music, outlines of the experimental, and a background of art-pop. Themes range from the pre-apocalypse golden hour of our civilisation to the thousand hidden kisses of forbidden love, with vast ground covered between.

Fizzface is the debut solo project of Ava Dalmer.Phasing in and out of dreamy soundscapes and droney live loops, it incorporates musical and conceptual elements of noise, twee, ambient, and punk.

Meeps Ambrosial explorations of Sound/Mind Theonomaspheres alongside analog synthesis and digital visual craftiness.
