Little Blast Trio with Oscar Laven

Entry
$15 presales, $20 door ($10 unwaged)
Body

Little Blast Trio (with special guest, Oscar Laven), play the music of ‘Triplicate’ - the 1988 album released by the Dave Holland trio on the legendary ECM label.

“Holy shit! You can do that in jazz?” thought these young players upon encountering it almost 30 years ago. Sure can! It’s time to put this lovely mix of tunes through their paces, refracted through the prism of these four stalwarts of the craft who have performed extensively in Aotearoa and beyond over the last few decades. Should be quite a gig.

Little Blast Trio is:
- Blair Latham ~ Tenor Sax/Bass Clarinet
- Alistair Isdale ~ Acoustic Bass
- Darren Mathieson ~ Drum kit
- with Oscar Laven ~ Tenor Sax/Bassoon

$15 presale tickets via UTR

$20 door sales ($10 unwaged)
