FUJI-YUKI (Japan)

Japanese vocalist Fuji-Yuki uses her voice like an instrument. With special vocal techniques, glossolalia and electronic pedals, she creates a wide variety of sounds. Inspired by the spirits of Buddhism and Shintoism, she creatively transforms her vocals into ambient soundscapes or prayers.

WAMEI (Japan)

Wamei is a special music enthusiast, drone music writer and player. Combining the hurdy-gurdy and a modular synthesiser reminiscent of early electronic music, he performs in a thoroughly abstract style of expression based on sustained drones - aiming for 'sounds that lead to other worlds'.

WINTERWOOD

Winterwood is a husband & wife duo based in Wairarapa. They draw on their diverse musical backgrounds in classical violin, opera, & sound experimentation to create a unique blend of acoustic atmospheric folk, soundscapes, & epic long-form drone pieces.
