'Light worker' is an immersive experience of past, present and future aspirations and mahi toi conjured up over the past couple years. Experimenting with light, colour, movement and sound in dark spaces. Pyramid Club will be occupied by video, audio and lightbox works by Jamie Berry and 7558 collective.

For the exhibition opening, Jamie Berry will present video and audio work live via VJ set with live responses from taonga pūoro wizard Te Kahureremoa and a VJ set from Mike Busy.


Jamie Berry (Te Aitanga-a-Mahaki, Rongowhakaata, Ngāti Porou, Ngāpuhi) is a multidisciplinary artist who creates multimedia artwork that explore Aotearoa histories while reflecting on identity and whakapapa. Originally from Tūranganui-a-kiwa and based in Pōneke, Jamie draws inspiration from both locations. Her work uses her connections between past, present, and future forward creating narratives through her DNA-based soundscape, moving image, and installation works.


Exhibition runs till the end of the year and is open for viewing Tuesdays 10-4 and at gigs.
