In this episode Dan is joined by circuit bending, reed playing musician, and one of the key people working at Pyramid Club, Zak Argarbrite (ᏣᎳᎩ / Tsalagi / Cherokee). Together they listen to new works from Zak's home studio, an older work from his time in the US, and some of the Native American musicians Zak enjoys.
Zak grew up in Cherokee and Shawnee homelands (Kentucky) and now lives in Te Whanganui-a-Tara. He came over to complete a doctorate in the circuit bending noise you hear a bit of in this episode. Before moving to Aotearoa, Zak lived in Lenapehoking (NYC) for eight years, where he was an active part of the local experimental composition and performance scenes as a composer, performer, venue manager, and audio engineer.
