An analysis of Candy

At the end of last year Kraus was bed bound and grieving, a place in which he was stuck. And from his bed he produced music, music to heal; his own sonic therapy.

“I was desperately trying to keep myself alive and I asked myself ‘what will help me?’ and because music is all I can do, the only answer was making music”

In this video he looks at the technical and performance aspects involved in the track 'Candy', a track full of the crisp shells of M&M's and candyfloss so sweet it burns.

Of the whole EP Kraus says:

This album enhances clarity of the mind, and brings calmness during overwhelming situations. It supports emotional balance, and provides comfort during times of sadness and grief. It can also increase intuition and creativity.
